Whether you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful evening dining and enjoying cocktails with friends and family, or you’re ready to take the party up a notch, the Shoals has a place for everyone.

Test your billiard savvy at Smokehouse Billiards in downtown Florence. The Smokehouse is an old-fashioned pool hall straight from days gone by. When you’re finished, walk down the street to On the Rocks, a classic sports bar that has live music almost every night of the week, making it a favorite of UNA students.

A short drive over O’Neal Bridge will take you right to the Sandbar at the Shoals, which has a dance floor and D.J. so you can dance the night away. If you really want to boogie, check out Rattlesnake Saloon in Tuscumbia—an old-time honky-tonk where you can line dance your boots off, or if you’re feeling adventurous, visit Sundance Saloon, and take a ride on the mechanical bull.

The Shoals is known for its live music so check some out while you’re here. PJ’s and the Trojan House, located in Muscle Shoals, have live music performances on a regular basis; Swamper’s Bar and Grill, located in the Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa, also has live music throughout the week.
